Jessica Biel has been a model and an actress throughout her career. She is of American descendance. As a teenager she was modeling. The award of a scholarship at a con led her to pursue acting classes with Young Actor's Space. She came into the limelight as part of 7th Heaven of WB series as the character Mary Camden. Her role in the series made her a huge star however she was concerned that Mary Camden's image as an "good girl" could limit her ability to perform. To dispel the stereotype, she appeared partially clothed for the cover picture for Gear magazine. Jessica's act caused a lot of controversy among her fans. Her appearance in the 6th season brought her out of 7th Heaven. In the movie Ulee's Gold, she gained immediate recognition for her outstanding acting. Her role in this film earned her the title of Best Supporting Youth Actress. This comedy movie Summer Catch bears the proof of her amazing acting skills. Despite her impressive performance in the Rules of Attraction her film did not receive much success. People were then attracted to her role in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. Also, she has acted in suspense films and demonstrated her skills as a professional actor.
