Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and subsequently went on a 3 fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round in all the fights. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 represented her first bout as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to outclass Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. In her last bout for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to defeat her by TKO in the 2nd round. She continued to dominate and was able to win a thrilling fight in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and got a Performance of The Night bonus. Sijara Eubanks, a member of Invicta FC, was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Both fighters fought unbeatable fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters earned each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in 16 seconds. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in the UFC in ESPN 7. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
