Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country music and songwriting, gained fame on TV when she became Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were included in One Tree Hill's episodes which helped propel her debut album from 2012 into Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Her follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Over the past decade, she appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV programs. She also released some singles which did not appear on albums. It was released in 2021 as The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for the country genre. Later she would pursue a record career. Her first role as a actress in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was an teen. Guest spots in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the recurring part as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared on 90210 as Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's ensemble with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer was signed to a contract as a singer with Elektra Records and debuted the modern country song I Won't Give up in a show episode from 2011 on One Tree Hill. In 2012, the song was released on Jana Kramer - her first album. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Her focus was on her musical career following that, and not resigning from acting she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at third place in the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her stint in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th-place finish. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary in the form of Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
