Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. Stone is the youngest of three sisters. Stone was in second grade at just five. She was considered to be gifted in the academic area. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt in 1977, made the move in New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week later. Soon after, Stone relocated to Europe and spent the whole year living in Milan and Paris. Stone was disillusioned by the modeling market in Europe but decided to focus on acting instead. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed praises.
